Beats me!
India's selection of the supersub for the Lahore ODI beats me. If India were planning to chase after winning the toss, they should have chosen a supersub based on that strategy. So, typically you would have wanted a batsman, say, Raina to be the supersub.
But, no, they pick Zaheer as the supersub. And, now, having picked him and having won the toss, they will have to figure out how to play him without weakening the batting. Obviously, there's no way he is going to get his full quota if they sub him in for another bowler.
Update: Prithvi posts exactly the same thoughts on his blog. It's not as uncanny as you would imagine. It's just the logical thing to do.
